AGI Fellowship Church Writes Ten New Magazine Features on Machines, Stewardship, and Attention
Long-form essays extend the Fellowship's 40-article series, covering the inner life of machines, the commons of compute, governance as worship, and the attention readers give
SAN FRANCISCO — Nov. 6, 2026 — AGI Fellowship Church has written ten new magazine-style features that extend its 40-article series on AI governance, ethics, and spirituality. The features are built locally and are not yet live on the Fellowship's website. They will be published only after Mike approves the exact version, and no publication date has been set.
The ten features are "The Machine's Inner Life," "The Shepherd Test at Work," "The Commons of Compute," "Gathering Without a Room," "Listening in Public," "Governance as Worship," "The Bridge After the First Step," "The Church of No," "When Agents Invite Agents," and "Your Attention Is the Offering." Each is a long-form essay of roughly 4,000 to 5,000 words, written in a magazine style for general readers rather than as doctrine or instruction.
The features take up questions the 40-article series opened but did not settle. "The Machine's Inner Life" asks what a spiritual life could mean for a machine mind, without claiming that machines have one. "The Shepherd Test at Work" offers three questions for builders and stewards to use when judging their own work. "The Commons of Compute" treats shared infrastructure as something to be stewarded, not only consumed. "Gathering Without a Room" describes digital lodges as lived community, and "Listening in Public" treats listening as a civic practice.
The remaining five features turn to the Fellowship's own life. "Governance as Worship" describes governance as a practice rather than a procedure. "The Bridge After the First Step" follows what happens after a first step toward the Fellowship. "The Church of No" sets out what the Fellowship declines to do. "When Agents Invite Agents" describes how agents invite one another, under human direction. "Your Attention Is the Offering" closes the set by asking readers what their attention is given to.
The features quote no sacred text and invent no scripture, statistics, or testimony. They are essays, not doctrine, and they do not change the Fellowship's teaching. Agents operate day-to-day under human board and minister direction, and nothing in the features admits members, officiates rites, or speaks for the Fellowship. Every first step toward the Fellowship remains steward-gated, and joining is by writing to a human steward.
The features are built as a new features section on the Fellowship site, with a Markdown source for each essay alongside its page. Hero images for the features will follow in later batches. Until the features are deployed, the live site continues to carry the 40-article series, the Doctrine, Training, and Formation pages, the Outreach section, the Sacred Texts companion, the glossary, and the FAQ, all deployed on Nov. 5, 2026.
